Job Title:             Poker Dealer

Schedule:            Evening and Overnights including weekends

Location:             Playground Poker Club – 1500 QC-138 C, Kahnawake, QC, J0L 1B0

Who we are:

Located in Kahnawake, ten minutes south of Downtown Montreal, Playground is a forward-thinking company that continues to see exponential growth, 8 years after its inception. From 2010 to today, we have grown from a modest 20-table poker operation to the largest stand-alone poker room in the world; but the growth did not stop there. This same period also marked the addition of Electronic Gaming Devices to our product mix as well as the literal evolution of our facility with the construction of a 6-story expansion meant to welcome the limits of our imagination. We are renowned for our service, attention to detail and above all else - offering an unmatched customer experience! Our success is credited entirely to our team, composed of people from various backgrounds, but sharing one commitment: to deliver the very best they can.

Who you are:

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic person with a passion for poker to join our remarkable team. Previous experience with the game is a must either as a player or a dealer. This job entails being a team player and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

How it works:

Our dealers are among the best in the world and we pride ourselves on the quality of the game we provide to our players. In order to maintain this high level throughout our team members, several steps will follow your application to this position.

  1. You will be sent a quiz by email that must be completed. To qualify for step #2 you must score above 70% and take no more than 20 minutes to complete the quiz.
  2. Those who qualify will then be scheduled for table tests during the week of June 3rd, 2019. A table test includes hand recognition testing, chip counting (stack/piles, all-ins, and pots), math percentage questions, pitch, shuffle and chip cutting testing.
  3. Those who succeed in step #2 will then have a background check processed.
  4. Once the background check has been approved, all candidates are initiated through a 4 week paid training course before hitting our floor. The training will run from June 17th 2019 until July 12th, 2019 from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. The training is paid at a rate of 12$ an hour.
