VEGAN FOOD ASSEMBLY LINE WORKER

With its expertise in the food industry Aux Vivres, is an eco-responsible company that prioritizes the purchase of local products. The company includes a restaurant, retail store, central kitchen and distribution facility.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

An assembly line worker to join our dynamic team in a long-term capacity to work in our distribution department. Reporting to the distribution manager, the assembly line worker will participate in the preparation and packaging of our various products. We are looking to fill a full-time position of 30-35 hours per week.

WHAT IS THE JOB?

Participating in a variety of tasks that include:
Portioning, preparing and packaging a variety of products
Labeling and dating a variety of products
Weighing and measuring ingredients
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organized work area
Following all checklists
Keeping records of the quantities prepared
Ensuring proper rotation of ingredients
Occasionally assisting kitchen staff with various tasks
Performing daily cleaning duties
Removing trash, recycling and compost

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a kitchen or assembly line considered an asset
Have a strong work ethic, reliable and committed to your team
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand the entire shift
Ability to learn quickly
Food handler certificate considered an asset
