host, busser or Barista positions available

Il Cortile is located in the Art district of downtown Montreal and has been open for over 35 years. We boast having one of the most beautiful terraces in the city and cater to many high profile guests at our restaurant. As such we strive to offer a fine dining experience giving each of our guests a professional and courteous service. During summer months, we are one of the busiest places in town.

Positions are now available immediately:
 

-Full Time/ Part time hosts
1 year experience

Must be fully bilingual (English and French)

Duties include: greeting and seating our guests, answering phone calls and taking down reservations, assist waiters and staff at anytime during the service

-Full time/ Part time bussers
1 year experience

Should speak English and French

Duties include: clearing and setting tables, bread to tables, food to tables, offer cheese and peppers, assisting all staff during service

-Full time/ Part time Bar/Barista
1 year experience

Have at least 1 year experience making coffees such as espresso or Cappuccino

Duties include: making basic drinks and providing glasses or bottles of wine when ordered, cleaning always making sure bar area and fridges are cleaned and well stocked, glasses are washed by hand, assisting staff during service

We are looking to fill many positions during the summer months, usually from beginning of May until the end of September. Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of fine dining experience to their respective positions they are applying for . Provide a very professional and friendly service

Ability to work with others

Handle a section by yourself consisting of around 6-7 tables
